A delivery driver was arrested Thursday after about 715 pounds of marijuana were found in a truck at Tinker Air Force Base, officials said.

An OBN agent was performing military duty at the base when the agent was told a semitruck was trying to enter the base with a legitimate delivery, officials said. An inspection revealed duffel bags containing marijuana in the trailer.

Agents later found about 35 boxes containing raw marijuana, officials said. OBN also seized several thousand small containers of marijuana THC vape oil.

Investigators believe the marijuana was being trafficked from Pasadena, California, to New Jersey. The drug was hidden in a legitimate load of materials being delivered to Tinker Air Force Base.

The truck also held about $25,000 worth of frozen chicken.

The driver, Ashot Grigoryan, 59, was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of trafficking a controlled dangerous substance and maintaining a vehicle for drug trafficking. He was already on probation in Missouri for a previous trafficking case, officials said.
