Another muggy Monday, risk of showers on tap all week

In not-so-stunning news, it’s sticky out there.

That’s after a record-setting wet spring with a once-in-a-decade string of 30 C plus days before summer even begins.

For Monday, expect a high of 25 C with a humidex of 31, UV index of 9 or very high and southwest winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40.

Monday evening is forecast to be partly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a low of 15 C.

Tuesday is expected to be a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers, the risk of a thunderstorm and a high of 23 C that will feel more like 28. There’s a 30 per cent chance of showers and a low of 15 C.

For Wednesday, expect a mix of sun and cloud, a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 22 C.

The forecasts for Thursday and Friday feature clouds and a 60 per cent chance of showers with highs of 25 C and 22 C respectively.

Saturday is, so far, forecast to be dry with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 22 C.

Environment Canada is predicting a mix of sun and cloud, a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 23 C Sunday.
