CORONATION Street fans are set to see the evil side to Pat Phelan return in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap.
After letting Michael Rodwell die, Phelan then turned his attention to Andy Carver, who had begun to work out that the dodgy builder was involved in Michael’s death some how.
The pair were caught up in a scuffle which appeared to end when Phelan hit the character over the head with a laptop.
While it was never confirmed, viewers were lead to believe that Connor McIntyre’s character had killed Andy.
In the weeks and months that followed, Phelan married Eileen Grimshaw and returned to normality.
However, the builder’s guilt looks set to resurface when Todd Grimshaw continues to poke fun at him about the spirit world.
Angered by his comments, Phelan will flip and will shove Todd up against the wall.
Is his conscience getting the better of him?
Viewers saw Phelan start to crack during the latest episode when Luke Britton called him round to his flat to sort out the dodgy electrics and weird sounds.
Aware that it was the place that he attacked Andy, Phelan attempted to brush off his doubts.
While the builder put the faults down to leaking water, other fans speculated that there was a more sinister reason for the sounds.
“#corrie sounds like Andy’s swimming round the cold water tank!,” wrote one.
While another commented: “Could that strange noise be Andy? #corrie.”
“#Corrie If you listen to the buzzing carefully, you might hear someone say ‘help help’,” came the response from a third viewer.
A fourth posted on the social media site: “It’s #Andy. He’s back! #corrie.”
“I bet it’s Andy making that noise. #Corrie,” suspected another.
One user added: “Just where did Phelan put Andy’s body? #Corrie.”
Coronation Street continues on ITV at 7.30pm.
