A residential block in the Park City section of Knoxville was shut down late Wednesday night as firefighters battled a blaze at a local home.
Crews responded at about 11:30 p.m. to a report of a fully-involved house fire at 2814 E. 5th Ave., which is between North Hembree and Milligan streets.
No one was reported to be injured in the fire, a dispatcher confirmed.
Crews remained on scene at about 12:30 a.m.
Police said on Twitter the firefighting efforts had shut down the 2800 block of Fifth Avenue. It was expected to reopen by 2 a.m.
It was not immediately clear how seriously the home was damaged or what might’ve caused the fire.
