Mr. Robert W. Thrash of Nashville, Tennessee and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel W. Small of Pleasant View, Tennessee are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Emeline Carol Thrash to Brian Jeffrey Dunn of Watkinsville, Georgia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey R. Dunn. The wedding ceremony will be officiated by Reverend Dr. Davis Chappell, and held at Brentwood United Methodist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 5:00PM, with a private reception to follow at Richland Country Club.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Novice J. Cole of Brentwood Tennessee, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow B. Thrash of Heflin, Alabama. The bride is the goddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Turner of Nashville, Tennessee. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Roberta M. Weiss of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. and Mrs. Gary C. Dunn of Sherwood, Maryland, the late Mrs. Jane E. Dunn of Queensbury, New York, and the late Mr. Henry J. Weiss of Broad Channel, New York.
Emeline is a 2007 graduate of Brentwood Academy, and a 2012 graduate of Auburn University with bachelor degrees in both Accounting and Finance. She serves as Vice President and Client Services Advisor at Pinnacle Financial Partners. Brian is a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture. He serves as a Land Use Planner at the Civil Site Design Group. The couple met in November of 2012, and were engaged on St. Simon’s Island, Georgia on June 22, 2016. Upon return from their honeymoon in Turks and Caicos, the couple will reside in Nashville, Tennessee.
