Speaking exclusively to OK! Online, Ex on the Beach star Sarah confirmed viewers would be “gripped” by the drama to come.

While the new stars originally had no idea what was in store, they soon learned they were not the only newbies.

Competing against each other to prove they had what it takes, it’s safe to say things got explosive for the gang.

Sarah told us: “It was the scariest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I was excited but it was so nerve-wracking.”

And it looks as though there wasn’t just tension between the new stars, with Sarah adding: “There wasn’t just arguments between the newbies.”

The professional make-up artist explained: “It got intense and not necessarily because of the competition, but because of the drama going on in the house.

“It was a very tense environment so you lost your head a bit.”

She also promised: “I think everyone will be gripped to it. people will wanna watch it!”

Her new co-star Sam Bentham echoed this, revealing: “You have to think, if everyone is going out and getting drunk, how easily it is for something to start. On a night out with everyone fuelled with drink, and if people aren’t getting on it’s just gonna go off.”

He continued: “If you start to lose your head you can’t go anywhere. Anywhere else I’d just get in my car and disappear, or go on my phone and you’d speak to someone, but we’re in this bubble and you can’t get away from the situation.”

The cast admitted they knew some of the original stars before, and agreed it was helpful having that.

Sam said: “It was easier going in because you didn’t have to come out of your shell.

“They’re already big names so imagine going in and being yourself in an environment like that with people like Marty. If you know them it’s easier.”

New girl Abbie Holborn confessed she had no idea about the show’s concept, believing she was a definite new star of the MTV series.

She said: “Every one of us thought we were going in as a housemate. we had no idea there were all of these others, it was a shock.”

Abbie added: “It did create drama. It was hard because we all got close as the newbies, and we formed a bond. It was easy because there was a lot of us, but so hard because we were competing.”

Geordie Shore: New Radgie Rampage begins on the 28th March at 10pm on MTV
