THE CAST of Australian soap Neighbours have paid tribute to Adele with a hilarious spoof video.
Adele let fans in on her day the set by uploading a shot of herself on the famous Ramsay Street to her Instagram.
Showing how much of a fan of the legendary soap she is, Adele quoted the show’s theme tune in her photo caption.
She wrote: “Neighhhhbours, should be there for one anotherrrr. That’s when good neighhhbours become goood friennnds.”
And she wasn’t the only one delighted with her Neighbours visit.
Paying tribute to the star, the cast of the show uploaded a hilarious spoof of her mega hit Hello.
In the clip, posted to the show’s official Instagram account, Dr Karl Kennedy actor Alan Fletcher can be seen looking at Adele’s Instagram on his phone.
As he realises she’s on Ramsay Street, he rushes out of the doctors surgery and speeds away in his car to try and catch a glimpse of the singer.
When he reaches the street, however, he finds Jackie Woodbourne, who plays Karl’s wife Susan, standing in the spot Adele posted from instead.
He tells her: “Hello, Adele?”
Before she replies: “Hello, it’s me.”
The lines are, of course, from Adele’s 2015 smash hit.
As the couple go in search for Adele, Jackie says: “It’s no secret that the both of us are running out of time,” again taking inspiration from Adele’s lyrics.
Fans seemed to love the hilarious clip and flooded the post with praise for the stars.
One admitted: “This cracked me up.”
While another wrote: “Omg hahah,” and a third added: “Love this!”
The clip comes after fans were devastated to hear rumours that Neighbours may be facing the axe from British TV.
According to reports, Neighbours could be dropped due to talks between Channel 5 and producers being stalled.
The hit Australian soap first aired on UK television screens in 1986 on BBC One and moved to Channel 5 in 2008 after the broadcaster bought it off in an expensive deal.
Neighbours has been a starting show for many famous stars including Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and even Margot Robbie.
But now, it has been reported that due to a “failure to reach a deal”, the soap’s future could be in “jeopardy”.
For now, Neighbours continues on weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5.
