A 26-year-old man is dead and two others were wounded in a shooting at Cayce Homes apartments Friday afternoon, according to police.

A 14-year-old male was shot in the arm and a 20-year-old male was shot in the stomach.

The 26-year-old who died was found sitting in the passenger seat of a silver four-door Buick. The 14-year-old and 20-year-old males live here.

Police have said it is unclear if the individuals were shooting at each other or someone was shooting at them.

Three crime scenes around the apartment complex were roped off with police tape just before 2 p.m. Friday afternoon, particularly around building 77 off South 8th St.

Witnesses in the area reported hearing three gunshots.

The incident Friday occurred right beside the location where teenager Vastoria Lucas was fatally shot on March 28.
