A group of chefs and entertainers are gathering for a one-night event to benefit Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
Tacos for Texas, organized by Houston native and Nashville resident Ian Navarro and Nashville realtor Thomas Williams, will bring together the best of Houston and Nashville cooking, including Pat Martin of Martin’s BBQ, Levon Wallace of Gray & Dudley, Crystal Luna De-Bogan of Grilled Cheeserie, Lisa White of Marsh House, Bryan Weaver of Butcher & Bee, Teresa Mason of Mas Tacos, John Lasater of Hattie B’s, Nathan Duensing of Marsh House and Aaron Clemins of Kuchina & Keller. A headline chef in for a visit is Alex Padilla of Houston’s legendary The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation.
Music will be provided by Brandon Ratcliff, Lila McCann and award-winning songwriter Don Schlitz.
Proceeds will go to Texas nonprofit Legacy Collective.
