A Tennessee Highway Patrol officer died Friday after suffering injuries in a off-duty motorcycle crash, according to a release from the Department of Safety.
Sgt. Allan Brenneis was involved in a crash while riding his motorcycle last weekend.
The release said Brenneis would be remembered for his extensive and successful career, and that he garnered respect not only from his co-workers but from others “across the state and nation.”
Details of funeral arrangements were not immediately available.
