Vanderbilt signee Darius Garland hit six 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 43 points in Brentwood Academy’s 80-58 win over Centennial on Tuesday to tip off the three-time defending Division II-AA state champions’ season.

Here are the rest of the top performers as reported to The Tennessean from area coaches and team statisticians.

Jalen Alexander, Maplewood. Alexander scored 15 points with a 3-pointer in a 43-39 win over Antioch.

Syeed Anderson, LEAD Academy. Anderson led LEAD Academy with 17 points and a 3-pointer in a 69-39 win over Clarksville Academy.

Jaden Barlar, Nashville Christian. Barlar scored 11 points in a 74-60 win over KIPP Academy.

Caylor Bates, Mt. Juliet Christian. Bates scored 12 points with two 3-pointers in a 63-38 win over Pleasant View Christian.

Tyrus Baynham, FRA. Baynham had 19 points with four 3-pointers in a 67-40 loss to Lipscomb Academy.

Nathan Bloedorn, Nolensville. Bloedorn scored 29 points in a 67-40 win over Overton.

Jayce Brown, Grace Christian. Brown scored 16 points in a  68-48 win over Ezell-Harding.

Jayson Brown, Beech. Brown had 19 points in a 59-54 loss to Brentwood.

Robjay Bush, La Vergne. Bush scored 25 points in a 46-44 loss to Page.

Keyonte Calloway, Ensworth: Calloway scored 20 points in a 105-70 win over Nashville Central Christian. Ensworth hit 10 3-pointers in the game.

Jack Cherry, Lipscomb Academy. Cherry led Lipscomb Academy with 19 points, including four 3-pointers, in a 57-40 win over FRA.

William Christie-Mizell, USN. Christie-Mizzell scores 11 points with a 3-pointer in a 46-39 win over Hillsboro.

Andrew Cline, Greenbrier. Cline had 11 points in a 53-38 loss to Pope John Paul II.

Jaylan Clemmons, Ensworth. Clemmons scored 13 points.

Derrick Cliff, Clarksville. Cliff had 11 points in a 56-46 loss to Lebanon.

Michael Cody, Monterey. Cody had 17 points with two 3-pointers in a 67-66 win over York.

Dalton Coleman, Monterey. Coleman led Monterey with 20 points.

Keyshawn Collier, Ensworth. Collier scored 14 points.

George Corzine, USN. Corzine had 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Matt Dial, CPA. Dial had 13 points with a 3-pointer in a 66-18 win over Franklin Christian.

Larry Doss, LEAD Academy. Doss scored 10 points with two 3-pointers.

Bryce Eaks, Ezell-Harding. Eaks scored 12 points on four 3-pointers.

Caleb Field, Marshall County. Field scored 19 points.

Jonathan Gillard, Station Camp. Gillard scored 12 points in a 65-55 loss to Cane Ridge.

Joe Greenwood, Friendship. Greenwood scored 12 points as Friendship Christian beat Providence Christian 55-34.  

Nate Hill, MTCS. Hill scored 15 points with a 3-pointer in an 84-69 loss to Van Buren.

Mason Hicks, Red Boiling Spring. Hicks had 11 points with a  3-pointer as Red Boiling Spring beat Hendersonville Christian 72-58.

Eddie Jackson, Lebanon. Jackson scored 14 points.

J.J. Johnson, Marshall Co. Johnson led Marshall Co. with 27 points, including three 3-pointers, as they beat Fairview 80-54.

Alex Jones, Fairview. Jones scored 10 points.

Hunter Kirk, Red Boiling Springs. Kirk had 13 points, including one 3-pointer, and six assists.

Keshawn Lawrence, Ensworth. Lawrence scored a team-high 32 points.

Avi Lowery, Pope John Paul II. Lowery scored 19 points in a 53-38 win over Greenbrier.

Dalton Marsh, Red Boiling Springs. Marsh scored 38 points and had 13 rebounds as Red Boiling Springs beat Daniel 1 Academy 80-57.

Trent McCann, Goodpasture. McCann scored 24 points with two 3-pointers as Goodpasture beat Sycamore 81-21.

Mason McKnatt, Grace Christian. McKnatt scored a game-high 19-points with three 3-pointers.

Conner McCutcheon, Merrol Hyde. McCutcheon led Merrol Hyde with 26 points and seven 3-pointers in their 85-67 loss to Friendship Christian.

Cade McDowell, Lipscomb Academy. McDowell had 13 points.

Addison McNeely, Lipscomb Academy. McNeely scored 10 points.

Caden Mills, Van Buren. Mills scored 35 points and hit six 3-pointers.

Braeden Moore, CPA. Moore, an eighth-grader, led CPA with 15 points, including five 3-pointers, as they beat Franklin Christian 85-21.

Joseph Mussnug, Hendersonville Christian. Mussnug scored 13 points with three 3-pointers.

Noah Mulaski, Lebanon. Mulaski led Lebanon with 18 points in their 56-46 win over Clarksville.

Jackson Oxley, MTCS. Oxley scored 19 points with five 3-pointers.
