Casanova had just caught the ball on a kick off and was immediately tackled by a pair of Springfield defenders.

Casanova, a wide receiver and corner back, had his leg braced on the field then carted to the ambulance.

White House defeated Springfield 16-14 and is off to a 4-0 start a year after the Blue Devils went 0-10 for the first time in longtime coach Jeff Porter’s tenure.
