The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is bringing back its Wine & Swine fundraiser.
The event raises funds for the foundation to support and find a cure for those living with the life-threatening genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis, which damages the lungs and digestive systems of some 30,000 Americans.
Wine & Swine will feature a pork-based tasting contest. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite pork, and the restaurant with the most votes will be crowned champion.
Food, wine and beer tastings will be available from Ajax Turner, Chauhan Ale & Masala House, City Winery, Cochon Butcher, Edgehill Café, Jackalope Brewing Company, Little Donkey, Martin’s Bar-B-Que, The Mockingbird, Tansuo, Tennessee Brew Works, and von Elrod’s Beer Garden & Sausage House. There will be live music.
The event is Thursday, Oct. 12, 6:30 p.m., at City winery, 609 Lafayette St. Tickets are at https://wineandswine.eventscff.org.
